Opportunity for a bright individual to develop in an exciting environment with a multinational specialty property and casualty insurance company. We are seeking a financial professional to work as part of the Risk Underwriting Division where you will be responsible for controlling the financial affairs of its Luxembourg operations. Duties will include regulatory reporting, bank administration and reconciliation, daily processing of accounts payable function, preparation of monthly and annual accounts under IAS / US GAAP, budget preparation, corporate tax and VAT returns and day to day liaison with external auditors and insurance management companies.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified and have at least 3 years reinsurance / insurance accounting experience. Ideally we are looking for someone to be based in Luxembourg however we will consider candidates who will commit to commuting on a regular basis.
