Insurance Underwriting Governance

New role within a Cross Border Insurance Underwriting team. In this role you will assist with the development, maintenance and adherence to Underwriting policies and procedures. This will include the development, maintenance and adherence to SOX policies and procedures within the Underwriting department, including working with Underwriters and other departments in all relevant offices as appropriate. Assist in the design, preparation and analysis of reports, for submission to various committees, the Board of Directors and other stakeholders as required. Assist in the maintenance of appropriate records and coordinate the internal Underwriting department production of required regulatory returns and notifications in a timely manner. Manage the complaints process on behalf of the Underwriting department, ensuring appropriate record keeping, reporting and adherence to all time sensitive deadlines. Assist in the development and maintenance of a robust complaints system, reporting on same and making suggestions to improve service levels

Experience with either Irish or International based risks. Relevant professional qualification to industry. Compliance and or Governance knowledge or would like to use experience to move into this area.
